It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Thane of Wahpeton, North Dakota, born in Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Chowning and Jewel Chowning (Belk); her daughter Kathleen; and her brother Henry Chowning. She is survived by: her significant other Russell Thane; her son Ronald; her grandsons, Hunter and Mason; her sister Neva Mitchell (John); her sister-in-law Lela Chowning; and her nephews, Jay and Clifton Chowning.
The family requests that masks be worn and social distancing maintained.
