She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Schmitt and Mary Schmitt (Dauer); her husband Leo J. Nordick; her grandson Tate Robert Hauschild; her brother Mark Schmitt; and her siblings-in-law, Lucylle Schmitt, Mary Nordick, Ray and Kenneth Nordick.
She is survived by: her children, Annette Hauschild (Brian) of Gillette, WY and Dean Nordick (Kristi); her grandchildren, Brianne Pennington (Luke) of Gillette, WY, Seth Hauschild and McKenna Hauschild; her great grandchildren, Jude and Rafe Pennington of Gillette, WY; her siblings, Roger Schmitt (Marie) and Carol Heinen (Dennis); and her siblings-in-law, Lyle Nordick (JoAnn), Donna Dietz (Wayne) of Fargo, ND and Karynn Nordick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to St. Catherine's Living Center, Wahpeton.
