He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie; his daughter Sophie; his parent Ida; and his siblings, John Jr., Herman Jr., Rudolph Jr., Rueben Jr., Franklin Jr., August Pankow, Jr., Gertrude Askegard, Margaret Steffens and Ida Tobin.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Christopher Wanner (Melissa), Caren Stanley (Jerimy), JuliAnna Mauch (Craig), Jeret Hoesel (Stephanie), Meagan Sinks (Charlie), Nicholas Pankow (Julie), Brandon Pankow, William Pankow, Brittany Loll, Brandon Loll (Marissa), Justin Loll, Tyler Loll, Lucas Mitzel (Kristin) and Logan Mitzel; his great grandchildren, Anna, Allie, Ashlie Mauch, Lila Stanley, Lana Stanley, Morgan, Greta, Clara Sinks, Mason Loll, Brantley Loll, Saige Loll, Matthew Mitzel and Arnie Pankow; and his sister Lorraine Pederson of Lake Park, MN.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to The Muscular Dystrophy Association in memory of Arnold Pankow and in honor of his grandson Logan Mitzel who has MD.
