He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnett Romereim and Eva Romereim (Leshovsky); and his niece Kristin Farrel. He is survived by: his wife Corrine Romereim; his children, Rod Romereim (Brenda), Brandi of Wahpeton and Jaylyn of Wahpeton; his sister Kay Larson (Roger); his brother-in-law Gary Narum; and his nieces and nephews, Amy Narum and Jed Larson.
