He was predeceased by: his parents, William O. and Ellen A. (Roberts); his brothers, Joe and James; and his siblings-in-law, Roy, Marvel Kempf, Marilyn Melchoir and Jeanette Krumwiede.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his sons, Tim Velva (Denise) and Bill West Fargo (Julie); his grandchildren, Sonja Kessler (Randi Lyn) of Velva, Danya Brown (Robby) of Velva, Kaia Zietz (Michael) of Velva, Samantha Brown (Donny) and Will Krumwiede (Katie); his great grandchildren, Stella Broe, Aiden, Caleb Brown, Cadence, Brayden Zietz, Ryker Brown, Ellie and William Krumwiede; and his sisters, Jean Krumwiede and Mary Ann Peterschick. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to Holy Cross Cemetery, Souris Valley Care Center or Velva American Legion Post 39.
