He is survived by: his children, Julie Brown (Jay) of Berthold, ND, James Moldenhauer of Velva, ND and Kristie Hoff (Ryan) of Velva, ND; his grandchildren, Kacie Schaefer and Jordyn Schaefer; his great grandchildren, Trevin Mowan, Tallin Mowan, Tillie Mowan and Tenzlie Mowan; and his siblings, Delores Gessner, Wallace Moldenhauer (Donna) and Howard Moldenhauer (Sharon). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home (4 Central Ave W, Velva, ND 58790). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Valley Lutheran Church (400 Main St N, Velva, ND 58790).
