He was predeceased by: his niece Jocelyn Thomas. He is survived by: his spouses, Kristy Sullivan and LaRae Larson Dunwig; his children, Morgan, Brekke-Sisk, Dakota Brekke (Brooklynn Larkin) and Mariah Brekke; his grandson Isaiah Houston; his sisters, Joleen Thomas (Troy) of Minot, ND and Kathy Schumacher (Nick); and his nieces and nephews, Hadley Thomas, Thea Thomas, Kara Keysor (Kacy), Adam Schumacher and Ross Schumacher.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Jocelyn Thomas Project or Oak Valley Lutheran Church of Velva.
