She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Vernon Nelson and Dorothy Irene Nelson (Ekern); her grandparents, Nicholas, Sophie Nelson, Melvin and Carrie Ekern; her brothers, Jeff Nelson and Jim Nelson; her godmother Edna Kulsrud (Art); her sister-in-law Joyce Wallner (Myron); her goddaughter Camille Fitterer (Kulsrud); and also, Milo Stevens (Yvonne), Earl Stevens (Shirley) and Michael Stevens.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, John (Arlette) and Cheryl Sorby (Kory); her grandchildren, Dylan (Connie), Amanda Pfaffe (Sam), Jasmine, Nicholas Stevens, Karl, Kayla (Jacob Elston) and Carson Sorby; her siblings, Sharon (Dennis Coleman), Connie (Rodney Olson) and Wayne Nelson (Sandy); her brother-in-law Merrill Stevens (Gladys); her cousin Myron Kulsrud (Leona); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Micaleb, Braya Elston and Natalie Parisien. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
