He is survived by: his mother Rose Horst (Dockter); his brothers, Gary Horst, Glenn Horst (Mary Jean) of Lincoln, NE and Virgil Horst (Judy) of Mandan, ND; his children, Shelley Schmidt of Bismarck, ND, JoDee Horst (Scott Hausmann) of Blaine, MN, Tonya Horst (Randy Lorentz) of Hastings, MN and Shannon Horst (Danielle Holmstrom); his grandchildren, Cody Schmidt (Miranda Joshua), Cassidy Schmidt (Stetson Bergstad), Gabrielle, Garrett Hausmann, Shania, Miranda Stearns, Bentley, Kersyn Horst, Mazie and Maverick Ludwig; and his great grandchildren, Oaklyn Brunelle, Augustus and Alviah Joshua.
