As O'Neil Delano departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though O'Neil Delano may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy O'Neil Delano leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Oppegaard and Marie Oppegaard (Strand) of Litchville; and his siblings, Wallace, Marvin, Evelyn, Marlene and Nordis.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Olson; and his daughter Elizabeth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Faith Lutheran Church (309 4th St NE, Valley City, ND 58072). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Faith Lutheran Church, Bethlehem Cemetery or a memorial of your choice.
