He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Oppegaard and Marie Oppegaard (Strand) of Litchville; and his siblings, Wallace, Marvin, Evelyn, Marlene and Nordis.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Olson; and his daughter Elizabeth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
