He was predeceased by: his parents, John Baumgartner and Florence Baumgartner (Hawley); his wife Marie Kieselbach; his grandson Garrett Lunde; and his siblings, Donald Baumgartner, LaVonne Akers and Darlene Gustman.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Lunde (Marlynn) of Spooner, WI and Todd Baumgartner (Roxanne) of Litchville, ND; his grandsons, Jordan Lunde (Allison) of Chaska, MN, John Baumgartner of Jamestown, ND and Lucas Baumgartner of Fargo, ND; his great grandchildren, Audra and Reed Lunde of Chaska, MN; his sister Marilyn Ostlund of Fergus Falls, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Betty, Bob Ishaug of Barnesville, MN, Kay Kieselbach of Moorhead, MN and Dorothy Kieselbach of Park Rapids, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
