He is survived by: his children, Craig Heitzmann (Leah Cameron), Leslie Moroney (Mike) of Wasilla, AK, Marshall L Heitzmann of Valley City, ND, Ashley Farkas (Rusty Loibl) of Oriska, ND, Faith Kuhry (Ryan) of Valley City, ND and Aaron Moritz (Molly); and his sister Sandy Weinmann (James) of Harvey, ND. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
