We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2023, at the age of 69, John Owen Lutjens of Valley City, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lutjens (Jack) and Helen Lutjens (Linerud); and his siblings, Jacqueline, Dale and Keith Lutjens.

He is survived by: his sister Diana Wieland (Rodney Lutjens) of Sibley, ND; his sister-in-law Lorraine Lutjens of Mandan, ND; and his nieces and nephews, Lori Quick (Tony Jochim), Tonya Schlotman (Mark), Eryn, Erika Lutjens, Travis Lutjens, Matt Lutjens (Megan) and Tommy Wieland Jr.. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, and very special friends.
