He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Younie Punton, Sr. and Bertha Punton (Siewert); his wife Kathy Louise Ramey of McHenry, ND.; and his sisters, Patricia, Annabelle and Kathy.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Punton and Thomas Punton of Casselton, ND; and his brother Charles Punton of Hillsboro, ND. He is also survived by numerous cousins nieces and nephews.
