He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Brandt and Cora Brandt (Grondahl); his siblings, Sherman, Jerry, Dale, Wesley and Lois Degner; his granddaughter Abbey Tranby; and his great grandchildren, Walker Jernigan and Lillian Jernigan.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Reiner (Brandt); his children, Debbie Reiner Brandt (Craig), Patty Reiner Manning (Mark), Rhonda Wickman (Todd), Deana Tranby (Brian), Donna Nelson (Steve), Ronald Brandt Jr. (Carolyn) and John Brandt; his grandchildren, Theresa Barton (Lance), Melissa Burckhard (Kyle), Matthew Manning (Anna), Robert Manning (RaeAnn), Michael Manning, Katie Manning, Jacob Wickman, Jessica Fitzpatrick (Mark), Jed Wickman, Jamie Jernigan (Adam), Ryan Tranby (Michelle), Chantel Tranby, Evan Nelson, Adam Nelson, Nathan Brandt (Cassie), Shawn Brandt, Nora Brandt and Jayden Brandt; his sister Lana Best (Galen); and his sister-in-law Beverly Brandt. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nero Funeral Home (402 Sinclair St, Bottineau, ND 58318). A prayer was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Lutheran Church.
