She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Kapanke and Esther Kapanke (Schafer); her husband Wayne Westman; her stepfather Arnold Granlie; and her brother Larry Schafer (Anita).
She is survived by: her children, Karla Derheim of Underwood and Michael Derheim of Ashland, KS; her grandchildren, Samantha Rivera (Fidencio Jr.) of Buffalo, OK, Stephanie Derheim of Underwood and Spencer Derheim of McPherson, KS; her great grandchild Isabella Rivera of Buffalo, OK; and her brother Dave Kapanke (Roxie) of Underwood. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
