It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wayne Schauer (Underwood, North Dakota), who passed away on July 13, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Schauer (Johnson) and Edward Schauer; and his siblings, Darwin Schauer, Art Wilson, Donald Wilson, Doris Rieke, Marge Schaaf and Allen Schauer.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Freuer; his stepdaughter Debbie Hausauer (Carlyle) of Mercer, ND; his children, Patty Albaugh (Allen), Darvin Schauer (Missy) of Mandan and Jay Schauer (Nikki) of Mandan; and his grandchildren, Courtney Swart (Duncan), Karissa Albaugh, Kolton Albaugh, Casey Schauer, Savana Schauer, Breanna Brinkman (Chad) and Karter Schauer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
