He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Cooley and Doris Cooley (Hauskins); his siblings, Dennis, Gary, Kathy Spencer and Judy Spencer; and his stepdaughter Michelle Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Karen "Susie" Cooley of Underwood; his son Charles Cooley of Fairmont, MN; his sister Cheryl Becker of Northrup, MN; and his stepdaughters, Ronda Giaridini (Charles) of Mandan, ND and Pam Surface (Shawn) of Lincoln, ND. He is also survived by one step grandson; 7 step granddaughters; 13 step great grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
