He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Zerr and Martha Zerr (Scherbenske); his spouse LaVon Fern Flech; and his siblings, Ray, Robert, James, Melvin, Wallace, Ronald, Ruby, Denelda, Alice and Gladys.
He is survived by: his son Galen Zerr (Sheila); his grandchildren, James Zerr (Beth) of Gilbert, AZ and Kristal Kahl (Jason) of Tucson, AZ; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Diem and Freddy Zerr; his siblings, Dallas Zerr of Arena, ND, Allen Zerr (Diane), Jamestown, Margie Jansen and Janice Zerr; and his sisters-in-law, Edna Zerr, Bismarck, Colleen Zerr, Gladys Zerr, Pearl Zerr and Mandan.
