She was predeceased by: her mother Wilma Senior (Schlosser); her son-in-law Paul Schmitz; her sister Linda Mayhew (Biegler); and her siblings-in-law, DeWayne Steichen, Tom Steichen Richard Simpson and Shirley Steichen (Danette Biegler).
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Steichen; her daughters, Catherine Schmitz (Jamie Goedken) of Oakes, ND and Darby Steichen of Valley City, ND; her grandchildren, Lacey Schmitz (Ben Lodoen), Lynsey Schmitz and Dawson Steichen; her siblings, Eddie Biegler, Lawrence (Sharon Biegler), Sharon Simpson, Ronnie (Kathy Biegler), Donnie (Jodi Biegler), Wendlin (Roxanne Biegler), Mary (Don Christianson), Patty Biegler, Cindy (Darrel Wald), Kathy (Robert Oster) and Debbie (David Lang); and her in-laws, Dean, Gloria Steichen, Donna and Butch Klein. She is also survived by numerous nieces, great nieces and nephews and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (318 2nd St SW, Steele, ND 58482). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 6:30 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
