She was predeceased by: her husband Bert J. Miller; her daughter Lori Avon Miller; her parent Anna Hetletvedt (Anderson); and her parents-in-law, Martin and Magdalena Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Miller (Sam Shaoul), DiAnn Phelps (Mark), Valerie Coleman (Frank), Rhonda Braun (Mike), Lucinda Engen (Dean), Rodney Miller (Linda), Jeffrey Miller (Rita), Marlyn Miller (Sharrell) and Aaron Miller (Lynne). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials in honor of Alvina may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
