He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hoffer and Elizabeth Hoffer (Boschee); and his siblings, Edna and Reuben. He is survived by: his siblings, Lillian Vogel of Bismarck, Esther Tschider of Mandan, Ida Sommers of Fargo, Irene Amundson of Princeton, KY, Bernice Schatz (Jim) of Bismarck and David Hoffer of Bismarck. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews, as well as several great nieces & nephews.
