It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violette I Okerson (Turtle Lake, North Dakota), who passed away on April 5, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lohven Bovkoon and Bessie Bovkoon (Novlesky); her husband Ervin Okerson; her daughter Sherry Westrum; and her granddaughters, Carmen and Allison.
She is survived by: her children, Darnell Okerson (Deb) of Dickinson, ND, Penny Hetzler (Allen) of Turtle Lake and Janine Radke (Jerry) of Underwood, ND; and her son-in-law Wally Westrum (Kathy) of Turtle Lake. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery Association or the Sherry Westrum Memorial Music Scholarship.
