He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob and Julia (Reichenberger); his siblings, Elsie Berg, Freida Fischer, Edna Duerre, Lily Moseng, Esther Bauer, Sylvia Leitner, Lorraine Willoughby, Eldein, Clarence, Samuel and Martha; and his parents-in-law, Art and Gertrude Schoenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Schoenberg; his children, Brenda Willoughby (John), Beth Hetletved (Dallas), Dawn Auck (Rob) and Brad Edinger (Annette); his grandchildren, Jen Stein, Sarah Putt, Dan Orne, Shane Auck, Lori Hetletved, Stacy Mauldin, Kiel Auck and Kaitlan Auck; his brother Arnold Edinger; his siblings-in-law, Gene Schoenberg (Joyce) and Kathy Jacobson (Wes); and his sister Irene Böecher. He is also survived by his 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
