It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veona Hansen (Turtle Lake, North Dakota), who passed away on May 28, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dens Dasenko and Helena Dasenko (Sauchenko); her husband John Demchuk; her son Arnie; her husband Herbert Hansen; her son Roger Demchuk; her grandson Loren Demchuk; her siblings, Joe, Tony, Dan Dasenko, Hilda Reiswig, Pauline Nuernberg, Ann Otzel and Rose Lethlean; and her children-in-law, Leo Reiser Jr., Edwin Arndt, Joyce Demchuk and Karon Goldade.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Eminith (Don) of Bismarck and LaVonne Reiser of Turtle Lake; and her grandchildren, Laurie Demchuk, LuAnn Alderman (Bernie Meehan), Darnell Arndt (Toni), Tamara Demchuk, Kimberly Thompson (Brad), Jennifer Anderson (Mark), John Reiser and Jami Hegney. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
