With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Lou Thoreson of Turtle Lake, North Dakota, who passed away on April 4, 2024 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Oscar Bovkoon; her parents-in-law, Dorothy and Orville Thoreson; and her siblings-in-law, Hope Brown and Russell Schmidt.

She is survived by: her mother Naomi Bovkoon; her husband Norman; her children, Nikki Lang (Jeremy) of Underwood, ND, Andy Thoreson (Sarah) of St. Louis Park, MN and Tony Thoreson of Washburn, ND; her grandchildren, Ashton, Kaden, Hayden, Jace, Trysten, Caitlyn and Loryn; her siblings, Geraldine Rickard (Gary), Kathy Madden (Kenny), Gary Bovkoon (Kristi), David Bovkoon (Trish) and Audrey Wentz (Lynn); and her siblings-in-law, Faith Hahn (Brad), Jay Brown, Jeanie Shirley, Karen Hutter, Darrow Schmidt and Gaylin Schmidt (Nadean). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
