He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Strobel and Mary Strobel (Werre); and his sisters, Leona Ramsey, Frieda Hammock, Betty Roweeder, Marion Uhlich, Norma Bird and Mavis Wagner.
He is survived by: his former wife Irene Jones (Anderson); his stepsons, Daniel Haven Jones (Denise) of Fort Mojave, AZ and Donald Leroy Jones (Melissa) of Minot, ND; his stepgrandchildren, Dillon Daniel, Cole Dallas, Brock Dalton, Daniel Thomas and Madeline Marie; his wife Irene Strobel of Bismarck; his brothers, Milbert Strobel (Delma) of Des Moines, WA, Darvin Strobel (Janice) of Orangevale, CA and Jack Strobel (Gayle) of Rocklin, CA; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Bird of Bismarck and Bill Wagner of Suisun City, CA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
