He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Stavig and Ann Stavig (Simington); and his daughter-in-law Jerri Stavig. He is survived by: his wife Mary McGuire; his children, Michael Stavig of Turtle Lake, Virginia Bushaw (Don) of Manvel, Angela Witucki (Pete) of Coranado, CA and Karen Stavig of Grand Forks; and his sisters, Ruby Hjelle (Hilton) and Lorna Jacobson (Arlin) of Hoffman Lake, MN. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
