He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kemmit and Pauline Kemmit (Lick); his son Milton; and his sister Shirley Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Connie Zingg; and his children, Duane, Jim, Cory, Myra and Audrey. He is also survived by children, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
