He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Gasho and Rose Gasho (Turnvald); his parents-in-law, Matt and Edith Smolnikar; his brother Jerry; his sisters-in-law, Colleen, Sandra and Sheryl; and his brother-law Wilfred Smolnikar (Elaine).
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean; his children, Dale (Hope) and Andrea Weiss (Brian); his grandchildren, Keiffer, Mikayla, Preston, Dylan and Connor; his siblings, Muriel Sokoloski (Don) and Harlan; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Gasho and Harold Smolnikar. He is also survived by three nephews and numerous cousins.
