He is survived by: his son Mitchell Block (Kyi) of Storm Lake, Iowa; his grandson Grant; his great grandchildren, Brennan of Iowa, Jayden of Iowa and Claya of Iowa; his son-in-law Scott Hellman of Fargo; and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Block, Janice Block, Marlis Richardson and Karen Brown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (320 8th St SW, Rugby, ND 58368).
