Merbach (Towner, North Dakota), born in Drake, North Dakota, who passed away on February 14, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Merbach and Bertha Merbach (Janz); and his siblings, Leila Merbach and Carl Merbach Jr.. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Sandow; his grandchildren, Taylor Hovland, Daniel and Nicolle Mickelson; his children, Dale Merbach of Towner, Jayne Hovland (Rich) of Bismarck and Tammy Mickelson (Dave) of Bismarck; and his sister Darlene Jorgensen of Grand Forks. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
