He was predeceased by: his parents, Algernon Byron and Vivian Jesse Dahl (Willis); his wife Vivian Viola Vesey; and his sisters, Sally Messner and Jane Forde.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Ternes (John) of Flasher, ND, Cinde Lou Earley (Phil) of Fresno, CA and Steven Byron Dahl (Leah Houdek) of Tolna, ND; his grandchildren, Amanda, Michelle, Michael, Tyson, Alec, Traci, Kelly and Paige; his great grandchildren, Jeremy, Brianne, Alexander, Micah, Blaire and Arlo; and his siblings, Lyle Dahl (Carrol) and Margy Messner (John).
