He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Burthold and Clara Burthold (Ensrud); his daughter Wendy; his siblings, Miles and Mary Ann Flaagan; his parents-in-law, Lloyd Loe and Emma Loe; and his siblings-in-law, Laurel Kokko, Joy Loe, Emil "Spud" Loe, David Loe, Michael Loe, Dennis Stenberg, Gordon Flaagan, Louis Anderson, Erik Paulson and Bill Kokko.
He is survived by: his spouse Ellen Loe; his children, Marcia Bollingberg (Leif) of Courtenay, ND, Liz Hagen (Mike), Teresa Smith (Mike Wood) and Rebecca Forde (Steve); and his siblings-in-law, Irvin Loe (Barb), Astrid Burthold, Betty Anderson, Marilyn Stenberg, Faye Loe, Jeneen Loe and Jan Loe. He is also survived by children, Fyll is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to Nelson County Health Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice.
