He is survived by: his wife Lois A. Hyatt; his sons, David Schmidt (Susan Carlson) and Dan Schmidt; his daughter-in-law Vicki Schmidt; his grandchildren, Ben McIntosh, Heather Williams (Gerad), Matthew Schmidt (Nicole), Laura Heinle (Robert) and Elizabeth Trainer (Jason); and his nephew Ed Jensen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
