Mildred Alma Hermanson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2024, at the age of 98, Mildred Alma Hermanson (Tioga, North Dakota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Barga and Mary Barga (Schieltz); her husband Gunvald Hermanson (Gunny); her children, Dennis (Sharlene Johnson) and Bonnie (Terry Walhaug); her grandsons, Timothy Kenyon Jr. and Michael Johnson; her great grandchild Nichole Johnson; and her family Renee Grinolds of Palermo, ND.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandi Kenyon (Tim) of Baxter, MN, Arlene Walhaug (Gary) of Minot, ND and Brenda Stowe (Gary) of Rochester, MN; her grandchildren, Dennette Clark, Valerie Johnson-Farber (Darren), Missy Kenyon, Tom Kenyon (Chrissy), James Kenyon (Lonie), Jill Ravensborg (Ron), Deb Enloe (John), David Kenyon (Mafoule), Denise Hasler, Melissa Walhaug, Laura Thies (Chad), Scott Walhaug, Jessica Stowe (Alex Kiel) and Julia Krebsbach (Carter); her siblings, Joseph Barga, Lucille Barga, Theresa (Hack Thompson), Leona (Arnold Blikre) and Ethel (Harold "Bud" Hesson); her siblings-in-law, Ernell (Bernice Hermanson), Hartvin Hermanson, Gene Heller, Byeloth (Caroline Hermanson), Ronny Fox, Elveida (Arvid Olson) and Marcella (Eilert Haakenson); her nieces and nephews, Floyd Hickel, Orville Bragg, Gerald Hermanson, Maynard Hermanson, Ernest Haakenson, Jim Heller, Roger Fox, Jimmy Hesson, Sandra Gaglidare and Merna Will; and her family Millie. She is also survived by 39 great grandchildren and 40 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home Chapel (104 Main St S, Tioga, ND 58852). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (313 Torning St S, Tioga, ND 58852). You were a Godsend, especially through Covid.
Memorial Contribution. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated for First Lutheran Church in Tioga's youth ministries.
