It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheldon Skavlem (Thompson, North Dakota), who passed away on April 18, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Selmer Skavlem and Ethel Skavlem (Hagen); his son Wade; his siblings, Shirley, Barbara, Dennis and James; his brothers-in-law, James McElroy and Harlan Thompson; his nephews, Jeff Thompson and Ralph Lyndon Jr.; and his parents-in-law, Frank and Serine Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol F. Thompson of Thompson, N. D.; his granddaughter Candace Skavlem; his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Rayna, Ray Jr. and Jaxon of Grand Forks, N. D.; his siblings, Russell Skavlem (Mary), Mary Bachmeier (Dean Anderson) and Susan Pedersen; his siblings-in-law, Kevin Thompson of Thompson, N. D., Adele Cook (Jim) of Sparks, NV. and Sherryl Kvamme; and his aunt Jean Skavlem of Grand Forks, N. D.. He is also survived by several cousins and 10 nieces and 10 nephews.
