He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his daughters, Linda Schumacher (Keith) and Julie Shirek (Danny); his daughter-in-law Rae Ann Burger of Thompson; his grandchildren, Jeri Schmidt (Jeff), Jo Thorson (Mike), Jason Lorenzen (Kris), Peggy Corneillie, Michelle Olson (Rod Huot), Michael Burger (Tammy), Katie Tschepen (Travis), Nicole Rudie (Josh), Chris Shirek (Tara) and Nick Shirek (Jessie); his sisters, Jane Willert of Boulder, CO and Bunny Bjarnason (Lynn) of Mountain, ND; and his sister-in-law Doris Robinson (Marvin). He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
