He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Thorsness and Rose Thorsness (Cullen); and his mother-in-law Lucille. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Bodvig; his children, Tammy Andres (Alan), Thad Thorsness (Jan Thompson), Brent Thorsness (Dawn), Dana Schrader and Kelly Thorsness (Brandon Addams); his siblings, Roger Thorsness (Stephany), Margaret Darnell, Ronda Thorsness, Valerie Vogel, Linnae Thompson (Tom) and Kevin Thorsness (Marcia McMullen); his siblings-in-law, Marvin Bodvig (Violet) and Sharon DeWitz (Jerry); his father-in-law Galen Bowerman; and his nephew Bryan Ehmann. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
