He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Kauffman and Ida Kauffman of Surrey; his spouse Gwendlyn Faith Kauffman; his siblings, Donavon, Richard, Doreen Dixon and Lois Kauffman; and his grandson Adam Emmanuel Kauffman.
He is survived by: his children, Deanna Benavides of Broadway, VA, Laura Yoder (Kim) of Wolford, Sara Mwagura (Joseph) of West Fargo, Leon (Jenny) of Condon, MT, Myron (Marsha) of Greencastle, PA and Carl (Kristin) of Harrisonburg, VA; his daughter-in-law Lisa Kauffman of Winston, GA; his sisters, Pearl Nussbaum (Gary) of Ohio and Ellen Yoder (Kenneth) of Ohio; and his siblings-in-law, Neptune Elkanah Dixon of Maryland, Florence Kauffman of Maryland and Wilma Kauffman of Wisconsin. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild, nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
