He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Goldsmith and Bernice Goldsmith (Hirsch); his wife Elsie; his sister Adeline Paulson (Bunny); and his grandchildren, Samantha and Samuel.
He is survived by: his children, David H. Goldsmith (Letha) of Omaha, NE and Debbie K Zillmer (Troy) of Gackle, ND; his grandchildren, Jason Zillmer (Jackie) of New Brighton, MN, Jamie Lagodinski (Tyler) of Edgeley, ND and Jordan Zillmer (Erica) of Cleveland, ND; his great grandchildren, Alex, Allie, Austin Lagodinski, Hudson, Viviana Zillmer, Theodore and Jayne Elsie Zillmer; his stepgrandchildren, Mica Bibb (Matt) of Fort Worth, TX and Austin Hall (Brandi) of Houston, TX; his stepgreat-grandsons, Grant Bibb and Nolan Bibb; his siblings, Darlyne Stanczyk (Joseph) of Holly, MI and Larry Goldsmith (Chris) of Fredericksburg, VA; and his sisters-in-law, Clara Mae Marcotte (Ron), Martha and Cotzhausen.
