He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Rust and Rose Eva Rust (Archer); his wife Betty Urie; and his brother William. He is survived by: his children, Deborah, Mary and Donald; his brother Charles; his nieces, Deb Pederson (Pete) and Mary Shaw (Brad); his nephew Don Rust (Kimm); and his grandchildren, Josie Milne (Max), Toni Shaw, Kristi Bartlett (Evan), Jenny Gagner (Joseph), Elizabeth Pederson, Katherine McLaen (Nick) and William Rust.
