He was predeceased by: his brothers, Stanley Swearingen and Harry Swearingen; and his siblings-in-law, Orlo Enderson, Art Height, Kenneth Kimball and Annie Swearingen.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Swearingen (Melody) of Langford, Marcella "Marcie" Markuson (Duane) of Wyoming, MN and Cynthia "Cindy" Abraham (Loren) of Minneapolis, MN; his siblings, Allen Swearingen of Abilene, KS, Clara Kimball of Aberdeen, SD, Ella Bagley (Harley) of Walla Walla, WA and Pat Height of College Place, WA; and his grandchildren, Janela Holt, Ericka Aldrich, Corinna Stevenson, Alaina Kvernevig, Jesse Abraham, Christian Abraham, Aaron Abraham and Joel Abraham. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
