She was predeceased by: her parents, John Haak and Marie Haak (Nooman); her husbands, Gerald Van Beek and Edwin Nieuwsma; her son Dennis "Denny"; her son-in-law Edwin Lee Nieuwsma; and her siblings, Gerrit, Albertus, Johnny, Frances, Rena and Wilma.
She is survived by: her children, Gerry, Lorraine Nieuwsma, Gail Van Vugt (Sturg) and Gerald "Gary" Van Beek (Denise); her daughter-in-law Cil Van Beek; her grandchildren, Kevin Nieuwsma (Gail), Michael Nieuwsma (Sheresa), Trisha Vonk (Kris), Michelle Van Beek, Jody Van Beek, Stacey Reitz (Kirby), Kyle Van Vugt (Tricia), Tim Van Vugt (Dawn), Todd Van Vugt (Shanna), Michael Van Beek (Jen Suter) and Mathew Van Beek (Channa); her great grandchildren, Kori Vander Yacht (Jake), Jordan Nieuwsma (Kelli), Megan Evans (Corey), Andrew Nieuwsma (Abby), Bailey Gogel (Kyle), Braden Vonk, Ethan Van Beek-Hoerner, Caden, Avery, Ashlyn Reitz, Kyson, Breckyn, Makartlee Van Vugt, Ella, Norah, Ava Van Vugt, Emmersyn, Landon, Kynlee Van Vugt, Theodore Van Beek, Zoey and Olivia Suter-Maier; her great great grandchildren, Vivian, Edwin Vander Yacht, Madelyn Evans, Evelynn and Everett Gogel; and her sisters-in-law, Harriet Alice Haak, Linton, Lynden and Wash. She is also survived by brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces.
