He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter W. Dykema and Nellie Dykema (Statema); his wife Carol Jean; his brothers, Alfred (Tannie), Edward (Clara) and William (Helen); his daughter-in-law Mary Pollock Dykema; his grandson Clinton Dykema; and his nephews, Merrill Dykema and Al Dykema Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Ronald (Loreli), Janet Gilchrist (Gary), Sylvia Dykema and David Dykema; and his great grandchildren, Bobbi Dykema (Tim Bender), Brett Dykema, Benjamin, Mary, James Dykema (Nicole), Cara, Bridger, Addison, Ryan Gilchrist (Erin), Paige Klein, Kaydee, Missy Gilchrist, Alexander Blood (Huangyan), Sebastian, Mackenzie Blood, Anakin, Lynx, Cairo, Micah Breeden (Megan) and Caleb Breeden. He is also survived by his children, he leaves 9 grandchildren.
