It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Payne of Strasburg, North Dakota, who passed away on February 21, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Payne to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Northeast and Alice Northeast (Vander Laan) of Westfield; her son Louis; her husband Ivon Payne; and her siblings, Allene, Delma, Arlow Vandenburg, Arlo Dyk, Joe LaFave, Fred (Charlotte Becker), Jack (Lorraine Shine) and Rutherford (Marilyn Payne).
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Payne (Penny), James Payne, Allan Payne (Rae) and Cheryl Brandner (Elmer); and her sisters-in-law, Vina LaFave and Alva Payne. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in honor of Betty at a local senior center.
