He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Richard Malsam, Elaine Malsam (Kurtz), Doug Malsam, JoAnn Malsam (Reichenberg), Sandra Berg (Malsam), Scott Berg, Ralph Malsam and Zandra Malsam (Albrecht); and his sisters, Agnes Dockter and Ann Meland. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
