Sandberg (Starkweather, North Dakota), born in Columbus, North Dakota, who passed away on October 30, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Sandberg and Rose Sandberg (Busch); his wife Jeanne Vogel of Granville; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Colby and Col. Paul Vogel.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Irene Colby and Joyce Vogel; his nieces and nephews, Paula Colby-Fuchs, Michael Colby, Louis Colby, Kevin Colby, Teresa Vogel, Maria Vogel and Steven Vogel; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan Fuchs, Erin Bermudez, Jessica Tardiff (Leevi), Allison Colby and Wyatt Colby.
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials are preferred to the Bishop Ryan Catholic School Foundation, the Minot State University Foundation, or the University of Mary Foundation in Bismarck.
