He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his children, Matthew Meyer of Stanton, ND, Nathan Meyer of Omaha, NE, Amanda Meyer of Moorhead, MN and Christopher of Hillsboro, ND; his grandchildren, Garrett Meyer of Fargo, ND, Claire and Sam Meyer of Omaha, NE; and his siblings, Joanne Watson of Eagan, MN, Daniel (Bonnie Swenson) and Duane (Vicki Swenson). He is also survived by many nephews, a niece, great-nephew, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (204 2nd St NW, Hillsboro, ND 58045). A prayer was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
