He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn; his son Billy Jr.; and his parents, William Hopkins and Ida Hopkins. He is survived by: his children, Chad Hopkins of Grand Forks, ND, Julie Higgins of Reynolds, ND and Darlene Volpe of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
